Multiple Postproduction Options

A Cut Above's edit suites produce full bandwidth broadcast video.  The edit systems (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and Media 100 844x) provide a variety of editing capabilities to meet the most demanding needs. An audio booth and production studio are available for voice-over and larger group recording.

Significant attention has been paid to the quality of equipment used within the editing environment, which includes three non-linear edit systems and 10 bit post production capability.  Digital Betacam, DVCPRO HD, DVCPRO and DVCAM all with SDI (Serial Digital Interface) are used to preserve the maximum practical quality of the original video.

Pricing is based upon hourly rates for each edit system and is typically priced by the project and discounted for large projects.

Archive Videotape Programs as Digital Master Archives

For programs on video or audio tape, A Cut Above has broadcast playback capability on 1 Iinch Type C, Betacam SP, Digital Betacam, DVCAM, DVCPRO HD (DVCPRO 50 & DVCPRO), 3/4 inch Umatic SP, DAT and 1/4 inch reel to reel audio tape (half and quarter track).  These tape formats provide the capability to transfer video from analog or digital tape to remastered digital files for long-term digital master storage and re-purposing.
