The linear suite is no longer used for editing, but has legacy resources valuable for retrieving archived footage. It includes a Grass Valley 100N switcher, Delta Quanta character generator, CMX editor, and a variety of audio equipment. Videotape decks include two broadcast BetaCam SP, 1 inch, 3/4 inch Umatic SP, and Digital Betacam with any of these formats designated as the master recording format. Interface with the studio cameras is available.
