A Cut Above has survived in a very competitive industry, in part because its only business is producing video and audio for business, industry and government. This approach helped the company stay focused on the production needs of its clients. As a reward for its accomplishments the company has received recognition as a leader in the industry and received numerous awards for its productions.

1988
A Cut Above was formed and began evolving from a TV commercial production company to a full service video production company focusing on the needs of business, industry and government.

1999
The company produced the documentary 'Thrust into Space, How the Space Program Changed Brevard County'. It was incorporated into the collection of The Library of Congress as part of The Local Legacies Project for the Library's 200th anniversary.

2000
The year 2000 brought major changes to the company with the acquisition of the production resorces of a local television station, channel 43 in Melbourne Florida.

2002
A Cut Above is adapting to new and innovative techniques to communicate via video. The web, CDs, and DVDs are all viable methods of delivering a message, while maintaining videotape capabilities for its broadcast clients.

2003
A Cut Above moved to a new 2,000 square foot facility from an underutilized 4,000 square foot location.  A new edit system was added, which adds dual stream real time uncompressed video and 24 bit audio editing.

2005
Keri Goff joined A Cut Above handling most office tasks and some editing and production.

2008
High Definition production equipment is acquired, adding broadcast HD field and postproduction to its existing SD options.

2011 to Present

The Digital Revolution continues with the evelutionary change from delivering digital video on disks to delivering most video content on the internet.  Bill Williams is still owner and President and Keri Goff is production manager.
